What is CBT

CBT is a powerful and evidence-based approach to therapy that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. During these sessions, we´ll work together to identify and challenge negative or unhelpful thoughts that cause you distress or hold you back. We´ll replace them with more balanced and constructive thoughts. This process empowers you to develop healthier coping strategies.

CBT sessions are typically conducted on a weekly basis, lasting about an hour each. By the end of each session, we will agree together on short practices to be done to cement the new habits. The duration of therapy can vary depending on your individual needs, but it usually spans 8 to 12 sessions.

What are the benefits of CBT

CBT will provide you with insight and practical tools to overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, overthinking, addiction, and more. 

The therapy is useful for symptom management as well as prevention of relapse.

Throughout the sessions, we work collaboratively to uncover profound insights and support you in embodying these discoveries. By practicing new ways of relating to yourself and others, you gradually replace old and unhelpful patterns with healthier ones that align with you true desires and aspirations. This integrative approach ensures that you receive a holistic and personalized therapeutic experience, tailored to your unique needs and goals.  

How Integrative Psychotherapy works?

This approach is rooted in the belief that true healing occurs when we integrate the mind, body, and spirit.

 

In our integrative psychotherapy sessions, we dedicate a generous 75 minutes to each session, allowing ample time for exploration, practice, and integration of various techniques. We will draw from a diverse range of modalities, including awareness and eastern practices, compassion cultivation, behavioural pattern recognition and activation, somatic experiencing, CBT, EQ development and more.
