Service Description

Exploring Reactivity and the Mind: In this workshop, we aim to understand the intricacies of the mind and its inherent reactivity. Reactivity refers to how we react or respond to different triggers or situations. Initially, our reactions might serve a purpose, helping us navigate our environment. However, over time, these reactions can become habitual and may no longer serve us well. Instead, they can contribute to prolonged distress and suffering. Did you ever feel bored and instinctively grab you phone to scroll your social media feed? Maybe a short relief, but eventually scrolling just makes us feel worse? Mindful Living: During the workshop, you will be guided to look at reactivities in your daily life. These could be emotional (become easily angered, anxious, or upset), interpersonal (such as react defensively or aggressively in social situations, or feeling misunderstood), cognitive (such as patterns of overthinking, negative self-talk or catastrophizing) etc. The workshop is experiential in nature; we transform these stressful moments of our daily lives into joyful experiences while understanding our habits and underlying needs.
